Dr. Brice Alvord offers a comprehensive array of radiology services as medical director of diagnostic imaging at Thedacare Regional Medical Center Berlin and Wild Rose hospitals. In addition, he is specialized in musculoskeletal imaging and intervention. As part of Radiology Associates of Appleton, he is committed to providing high quality on site access to general radiology services as well as subspecialization for complex imaging.
His special interests in radiology include:
- Musculoskeletal MRI and CT
- Joint injections for diagnosis and pain relief
- Percutaneous biopsies
- Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Intervention
Dr. Alvord earned his bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Auburn University in Alabama. He received his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN and pursued additional fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging at Pennsylvania State University Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Dr. Alvord is a member of the American College of Radiology, Wisconsin Radiology Society, American Roentgen Ray Society and Radiological Society of North America. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
