Dr. Liss is a radiation oncologist who guides patients through their cancer journey, helping them understand the role radiation has in their treatment.  When radiation plays a role in their cancer care, Dr. Liss oversees all components of the radiation course.  This includes tailoring radiation plans to specific, individual patient needs, incorporating the latest advances and cutting-edge technology to improve care, managing patients through the course of treatment, and following their care afterwards.  Dr. Liss always looks to bring the most recent advancements in the field of oncology to the treatment of every patient he meets.

Dr. Liss’s top priority is always the best interests of his patients.  He tailors individual treatment recommendations for each patient, coordinating care with their entire team of cancer providers.

Dr. Liss sees patients with all cancer diagnoses, and has a special interest in breast and prostate cancers.  He conducted research focused on decreasing side-effects and improving quality of life in these cancers, leading to multiple published papers in highly respected medical journals.  He uses many treatment modalities to care for his patients including the following:

  • Intensity Modulate Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
  • Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
  • Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT)
  • Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT)
  • 4D image guidance and adaptive radiotherapy techniques including the use of VisionRT
